6. Notes on Application︰
6.1 All contestants are nominated by the school. The contest is free of charge.
6.2 Students who study in Primary 6 in the school year 2022/23 are qualified for the application.
6.3 Each school may nominate up to FIFTEEN students.
6.4 Schools participating in the event is also requested to nominate a teacher-in-charge to coordinate
the event.
6.5 All contestants must be accompanied by their teachers or parents. Resting room are provided for teachers and parents.
6.6 The “Vaccine Pass” requirements must be fulfilled when entering school premises, except for exempted persons.
6.7 Schools may nominate students through the application form. Please send the completed
form before 5 p.m., 28th October, 2022 (Fri) by fax, email or online application. (application form)
7. Mode of Competition︰
7.1 The contest is comprised of a 45-minute written test.
7.2 The test has 15 questions. Questions are in Chinese. Contestants should answer all the questions.
8. Notes on Competition︰
8.1 Contestants must report to the designated venue in school uniform 15 minutes before the start of the event and bring along their Certificates of Admission and Student Identity Card or Student Handbook. Those who fail to comply may risk disqualification.
8.2 Using calculators is prohibited.
8.3 No stationery will be provided.
8.4 Rough paper will be provided.
8.5 If there are any changes in the rules and regulations, it will be announced on the day of the contest.
8.6 Queries should reach the person-in-charge immediately after the contest. The organizer reserves the right of the final decision in case of any dispute.
9. Awards
9.1 There will be Individual Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards. Certificate of Participation will be issued for each contestant.
9.2 Individual Champion, 1st runner up, 2nd runner up and 5 merit awards will be issued.
9.3 The result of each school will be the total score of the best 5 best individual scores. District Champion Awards and Overall Team Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards will be awarded according to the school result.
10. Only the awardee list will be announced in the contest result. The organizer reserves the right of the final decision in case of any dispute.
