Our school’s Information Day was successfully held. We were delighted to see a lot of guests visiting our school. Before the award ceremony, Principal Yeung gave a talk on Secondary 1 admission and shared his teaching experience with the audience. After that, the School Management Committees and supervisors awarded some students for their outstanding academic performances. Last but not least, there were choir and band performances. The students performed well and received thunderous applause from the audience.

A number of competitions were held on the Information Day. Nearly 100 students from 9 primary schools participated in the Hong Kong Primary Schools Mathematics Olympiad. In the end, St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School, Precious Blood Primary School (South Horizons) and Hong Kong Southern District Government Primary School won the overall championship , first runner-up and second runner-up respectively.

On the other hand, the “Pak Sha STEM Problem-solving Challenge Cup” held on that day was also very exciting. The championship , first runner-up and second runner-up were respectively won by S.K.H. Holy Carpenter Primary School, Hong Kong Southern District Government Primary School and St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School.

The school playground was occupied with various kinds of sports games during the day. First, the “Pak Sha Cup Primary School 3 on 3 Basketball Competition” was held. Our school sent two teams of Secondary 1 students to compete against S.K.H. Holy Carpenter Primary School and Precious Blood Primary School (South Horizons). After 10 matches, our school’s Team B won the championship, S.K.H. Holy Carpenter Primary School got the first runner-up and Precious Blood Primary School (South Horizons) got the second runner-up. Next, a total of eight teams attended the subsequent “Invitational Football Tournament”. The champion was the Southern District U12 football team, and the first runner-up was our school’s football team. Congratulations to the winners of the competitions!

Apart from the performances in the school hall, we also organized a variety of activities for our visitors. There were many game booths in the mini hall showing our guests the highlighted features of different subjects or school clubs. For instance, there were booths held by PTA, Chinese Club, English Club, Calligraphy Club, Arts Club and the uniform teams. Participants can get some gifts from the booths. Furthermore, there were music performances by C & M A Bountiful Grace Church. All visitors and students were encouraged to visit the library and join our workshops such as 3D food printing, robotic arm project, little scientists program and T&L program. Everyone had a great time visiting our school!
