Principal’s Speech

From the Golden Jubilee Celebration to a Brilliant New Journey

Dear Pak Sha students,

Welcome back to our vibrant learning family as we begin the 2025–26 school year.

First, I would like to warmly welcome our new Secondary One students and all other students in higher forms.  From today onwards, your learning, growth, and future development will always be the concern and commitment of every teacher here at Pak Sha. Together, we will nurture a new generation ready to embrace the challenges of our times.

The first day of school is one of the most important days of the year. As the saying goes, “A good beginning is half of success.” I encourage all of you to start strong: do not avoid challenges, do not retreat, and never give up. Face difficulties with courage, strengthen yourselves through perseverance, and become confident and dream-filled young people.

As we step into our Golden Jubilee, we embrace our enduring belief: “Human-Centric Tech, Future-Fueled Dreams, Pursue a Life of Excellence, Marking Milestones in Golden Beams.

True progress comes not from technology alone, but from the balance of knowledge and character. Here at Pak Sha, we aim to cultivate students who are not only skilled in modern tools, but also noble in values—courteous, compassionate, resilient, and cooperative.

This year, beyond our Dream Space, we are proud to open new learning zones such as the Pathway to CivilizationCPSS Fuel StationEnchanting AlleyGlobal TheatrePak Sha Garden, etc. These spaces will give you fresh opportunities to explore knowledge and grow creatively.

The 17th‑century French philosopher René Descartes once said: “I think, therefore I am.” Today, I hope that Pak Sha students can find joy in learning, delight in their studies, and take “I study, therefore I am” as their motto, making learning one of the most beautiful imprints in their lives.

Finally, as we commemorate the 80th anniversary of our nation’s victory in the War of Resistance, let us be inspired by the courage and perseverance of our forebears. To all students—especially our Secondary Six DSE candidates—never surrender to difficulties. If you keep moving forward, hope and success will surely come.

Dear students, keep striving, stay confident, and embrace this new school year with courage. May you achieve academic progress, good health, and extraordinary growth.
