From decades to centuries 　Carry forth Pak Sha’s legacies

 

 

Dear Pak Sha’s students,

 

As we enter 2025, what New Year's resolutions have you set for yourselves?

 

If you ask Principal Chan what 2025 will look like for Pak Sha School, I will answer without hesitation: it will be a year more exciting and fuller of vitality than ever. This year, I will lead the students to tackle three very important and meaningful initiatives:

 

First: Become proactive learners with a soul.

Dear Pak Sha students, do you know what characteristics the most sought-after individuals will have in the rapidly changing AI era of the future?

The answer is "people with ideas, proactive people, those willing to put in effort, and those with innovative thinking."

Please become "proactive learners with a soul" and strongly support the " Learning Journal Reward Scheme." Our ultimate goal as educators is to awaken each student and make classroom learning more vibrant, interactive, and practical. Thus, you must maintain your study notebooks, noting at least three key points from each class, along with your questions, discoveries, and inspirations.

Additionally, actively participate in the " Pak Sha Excellence Awards:

Academic Ambassadors Across Disciplines" attend, assist, and coordinate various academic activities and create short videos for "Pak Sha Academy" to share learning insights and showcase discoveries in learning. Constant self-renewal and creativity are crucial to avoid being replaced or phased out by intelligent tools of the new AI era.

 

Second: Embark on a journey of dream and creative learning.

"Everything starts with a dream" is a motto I often uphold because where there are dreams, there is hope; where there are dreamers, there is a future.

The establishment of "CPSS Dream Space" is designed to provide a comfortable, free, and inspiring environment where students can reflect, read, chat with friends and mentors, plan activities, or have real-time intelligent conversations with the AI dog "Xiao Bai. " Students explore knowledge across learning domains and venture into the boundless realms of imagination, experiencing a new dimension of innovative technology learning.

We continuously encourage and guide Pak Sha students to set higher, further, and broader life goals. Let every student at Pak Sha grow wings of dreams, dare to pursue them, and take practical steps to achieve their aspirations.

 

Third: Be young individuals who dare to self-reflect and improve.

Human history has taught us that the strongest species do not survive but are the most adaptable to changes in the environment.

Everyone has weaknesses, and to stand undefeated in a highly competitive new era, one must continuously renew oneself.

Therefore, your mission in 2025 is to overcome at least one personal weakness and bid farewell to any shortcomings hindering your progress. This could be habits like incomplete homework, procrastination, inattentiveness in class, reluctance to help others, or a retreating mentality in face of challenges.

It is said, "The greatest enemy in life is oneself." If you can defeat even just one personal weakness in 2025, you will become a warrior of life with endless achievements ahead.

 

This academic year marks Pak Sha School's 50th anniversary. Moving forward, the school will face the future with the firmest and most resilient will, standing tall with you all as we look towards even more glorious centennial celebrations.

I hope every student will display the unique vigor and enthusiasm of youth, approach learning with passion, and relentlessly pursue excellence.

 

Lastly, I wish everyone a year of academic improvement, good health, and dreams fulfilled in 2025!
