Exchange Highlights: Youth Exchange Programme in Hanoi, Vietnam

From December 22 to 27, our teachers and students participated in the "Local Engagement, Global Issues: Youth Exchange Programme" organised by the Centre for National History Education, visiting Hanoi, Vietnam to broaden international perspectives and foster cross-cultural understanding.
At a roundtable discussion with Hanoi secondary schools, students from Hong Kong and Vietnam engaged in English discussions on global environmental protection and sustainable development. Our Form 4 student Chan Yuen Tuk Travis stood out with his sharp questioning and clear expression, earning the "Best Questioner" award.

The delegation also visited the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, where they were warmly received by Ambassador He Wei. Our Form 4 student Huang Pei Shan delivered a sincere and confident speech on behalf of the group, receiving unanimous praise.
Upon returning, the Centre for National History Education organised a sharing session where renowned historian Dr. Joseph Sun Pao Ting provided insightful commentary on students' observations. Students presented in English and Putonghua, reflecting on their research, cultural experiences, and personal growth.

This exchange programme nurtured in our students the vision and understanding essential for becoming responsible global citizens.
