The ceremony for the "Hong Kong Island Outstanding Students Award," organized by the Hong Kong Island School Heads Association and and the Hong Kong Youth Association, took place on December 7, 2024.

The purpose of this election is to recognize students who have made significant contributions to both their schools and society. This event honors their efforts and helps them equip themselves for future challenges. It also provides outstanding students with opportunities to meet leaders from various sectors and engage in exchanges, enhancing their understanding of the world and broadening their perspectives.

This year, a total of 71 secondary schools participated in the election, with 137 outstanding students nominated by their schools. Among them, 20 regional finalists competed in the final round, with the winners being named "Top Ten Outstanding Students of Hong Kong Island."

Two students of our school performed exceptionally well.

• Form 3 student Ruan Chak Yin was awarded "Top Ten Outstanding Students of Hong Kong Island (Junior Secondary Group)."

• Form 6 student Mak Tsz Chun received the "Southern District Excellent Student (Senior Secondary Group)" award.
